ABOUT THE PROGRAM
We recognise that every organisation has its unique challenges relating to workplace diversity, equity and inclusion, and that every organisation is at a different point in their anti-racism journey. Some organisations require that a robust knowledge base of anti-racism is built first with their staff and management. Other organisations might need help to unpack entrenched issues, unhelpful individual behaviours and systemic barriers, while others are looking for practical strategies and interventions to address inequities they are already aware of. Often organisations need a mix of several strategies, tailored across multiple teams with different interventions and solutions.
All Together Now works with you to co-create anti-racism training solutions that are tailored to your organisation’s requirements and budget. Our program is created by experts and aims to raise anti-racism awareness and enhance understanding of the different forms of racism and discrimination and their impacts on the workplace.
We provide a safe space for everyone to participate in open and honest discussions, share their experiences and thoughts. Our program uses evidence-based methodologies to help participants unpack systemic issues, individual behaviours, institutional barriers and entrenched, highly casualised, stereotypical ideas and narratives with the aim to build safer, more inclusive, equitable and productive workplaces for everyone.
Additionally, our bespoke anti-racism programs can also address related issues, including the impact of external events and online misinformation, including hateful forms, on the workplace.

FAQs
How common is racism in the workplace?
Racism in the workplace still exists and is very common in Australia. Research indicates that in the last year one in two Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people experienced at least one incident of racial harassment or discrimination at work.1 More generally, 34% of people in Australia born in a non-English speaking country indicate that they experienced discrimination in the last twelve months because of their skin colour, ethnic origin or religion.2
What are the damaging effects of workplace racism?
Racism in the workplace can lead to significant mental and physical health impacts for people experiencing racism, as well as loss of staff morale and productivity, high turnover, and absenteeism.
By recognising the possibility of racism and taking steps to prevent it in your organisation, you can attract and retain talented individuals, enhance business performance and create a safer, more comfortable and pleasant work atmosphere for everyone on your team.
