All of our work at All Together Now is imagined, designed and conducted on unceded Aboriginal land. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia, and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We acknowledge their Elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge that Australia was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
Congratulations on a successful year for the organisation. Although there is a long way to go for all of our society, All Together Now is doing a great job in bringing awareness and taking action about the issue. I’m glad there is going to be a continued focus on racism in primary schools. If children can be educated at a young age, it will ensure that the future is safe from hate. Further, your work with Dr. Anne Aly must be commended.
I also believe focusing on racism online is very important, and perhaps not spoken about enough. We are currently running a blog, Be Nice. Think Twice, gaining awareness for this fact. Anonymity and the lack of consequences for posting racist material online is a major problem.
