New board positions

All Together Now is currently seeking two new Directors for our board.

Company Secretary

The role of All Together Now’s Company Secretary includes:

  • Directing the business affairs of the company by implementing the decisions of the board of directors
  • Act as adviser to the directors of the company
  • Liaise with auditors, lawyers, and tax advisers
  • Attend and take minutes of directors’ and members’ meetings
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets and forecasts
  • Negotiate the terms of new business contracts
  • Assess and arrange insurance cover for the company
  • Administer the company’s superannuation policy
  • Ensure that all returns required are submitted
  • Ensure the company meets its compliance obligations under relevant laws and the requirements of regulatory authorities
  • Supervise financial administration including preparation of financial statements

Director with expertise in Fundraising Strategy

The role of All Together Now’s Director with expertise in Fundraising Strategy includes:

  • Act as fundraising adviser to the directors of the company and the Public Fund management committee
  • Oversee the organisation’s fundraising efforts, including:
  • Ensure specific fundraising targets for each appeal
  • Ensure prospect research occurs to identify different types of resources
  • Identify specific, potential sources of funding from a diverse mix of sources
  • Develop an action plan about who is going to approach what source, and by when
  • Develop a Fundraising plan for approval by the board – timing to be negotiated
  • Work with all Directors to determine their contribution/role in fundraising
  • Meet and liaise with philanthropic donors
